Kansas kids need you

During the school year, almost half of Kansas public school students qualify for free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches. When the school year ends, those meals aren't available, and many children are at risk of missing out on the nutrition they would normally receive at school.  The Summer Food Service Program was created to help kids have access to the nutrition they need to grow up strong and healthy. Let's work together increase summer meal sites and ensure all Kansas kids and families know where they can find a nutritious summer meal.

Sponsor

What are you doing next summer? Think about opening a site in your school, church, non-profit or library.

Volunteer

Every site needs volunteers to help with every part of the program, whether that's helping prepare food, supervise kids, lead activities and everything in between.

Promote

The program only works when kids and families know where summer meals sites are located! Help spread the word about where kids in your community can find nutritious summer meals.
