Food Assistance in Kansas
(The food stamp program is now called "SNAP" at the federal level and "food assistance" in Kansas.)
Kansas Appleseed Center for Law and Justice is a nonpartisan justice center that advocates for vulnerable and excluded Kansans. Through our Children’s Hunger Reduction Project, we provide outreach and application assistance to increase eligible families’ participation in the Food Assistance Program (also known as SNAP/Food Stamps) in Northeast and Southwest Kansas.
Our Food Assistance Advocates travel across their regions to help eligible families apply for the Food Assistance program. Check out our schedule of upcoming Application Help Days!
